Hokkien is a group of dialects of Minnanhua / Ban5-lam5-oe7, “the speech south of the Min river”, the Chinese Min languages of the most widely distributed and arguably most influential in the Chinese Min language. 中華人民共和国、台湾、マレーシア、シンガポール、タイ、インドネシア、フィリピンで 4600 万人強に話されています。 文法は北京語に似ていますが、語彙や発音は北京語とは大きく異なることがあります。 福建省の山岳地帯にあるため、他の多くの中国語から隔離されており、特に閩南語は他の多くの中国語にはない中文（古文も含む）の特徴を残している。
